Respite Care 

Respite Care with Enrichment Services offers children with special needs and their families the opportunity to participate in individually tailored services that maintain or increase their knowledge and skills, help to improve their well-being, and link families to needed resources and supports. Respite Care Services, offered in both the family home and at Arc Broward’s campus, provides temporary care and supervision to children so that parents or caregivers can take a much-needed break with the confidence that their children are safe and receiving the best care by trained professionals. During Respite Care children are engaged in a variety of wonderful social, recreational, and fitness activities. Enhancement services include youth enrichment and parent education and support services. Youth Enrichment offers a wide variety of activities including academic tutoring, homework assistance, and fitness activities. Parent Education and Support services offers parents the opportunity to learn about topics of interest related to their children’s needs. 

Respite Care with Enrichment Services is funded by Broward County Community Partnerships – Children’s Services Administration.

Rehabilitation Therapy Services

Our dynamic team is dedicated to providing quality physical, occupational, and speech/language therapy services to children with developmental and other disabilities in a warm and stimulating environment. Occupational therapy is available to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in activities of daily living. Physical therapy is available to improve functional mobility, increase range of motion and strength, and develop specialized seating, positioning, and ambulation programs. Speech/language therapy is available to increase language and articulation skills, improve oral motor and swallowing skills, and provide augmentative and alternative communication systems. We accept Medicaid, Medicaid PSNs and HMOs, Children’s Medical Services (CMS), and private pay arrangements.
