ARC Broward Preschool Celebrates 57th Graduating Class Providing Children with Intellectual Disabilities Recipe for Success!

ARC Broward, a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to providing services to children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities, will celebrate the graduation of 31 children from its preschool program on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sunrise Civic Center Theater. This will be the 57th graduating class of the ARC Broward Preschool.
“The students in our graduating preschool class and their parents have worked extremely hard and overcame many obstacles for this moment. We are all so very proud of the tremendous strides each one of our students has made and look forward to their bright futures ahead,” said ARC Broward President/CEO Dennis Haas.
The ARC Broward Preschool currently serves 70 children with varying developmental and intellectual disabilities and provides early education and therapy services to toddlers and young students ages 18 months through five years. The school’s educators consist of certified teachers, teachers’ assistants, licensed physical and occupational therapists, licensed speech language pathologists, and board certified behavior analysts. Each student has their own individualized education plan to optimize their functioning and developmental growth.
