Youth with varying disabilities who are transitioning from school to work between the ages of 15-21.
Summer workplace readiness training program. Youth will learn a variety of skills that will prepare them for a successful work experience in the community. Topics include: social skills, dress to impress, self-advocacy, ethics, punctuality, workplace safety, customer service, mock interviewing, job exploration, resume development, benefits, financial literacy, and referrals to other transition supports and services.

*A minimum class size of 4 is required. The maximum number of youth who may attend in each session is limited to 12 youth. Youth must be present all week and attend the duration of programming each day.
Morning and afternoon breaks, plus a ½ hour lunch break is provided each day. Youth are asked to bring a bag lunch with an ice pack each day as there are no dining options on campus, and limited places to purchase and eat food quickly in the area.
We are currently accepting referrals from Vocational Rehabilitation (through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act – WIOA). For youth enrolled in VR, this program is funded by VR and is FREE for the youth. For youth who are not connected with VR, we accept private pay referrals. Cost of the 1-week camp is $275.
