Dennis Haas, Esq. -
Arc Broward 
 Mr. Haas has served on the Arc Broward Board of Directors since 1983.  In 1996, he assumed the position of President/CEO of the organization and continues to serve on the Board in that capacity.  Previously, he was in private law practice for 18 years as a Shareholder in a large south Florida law firm and later in his own firm.  He practiced in the areas of corporate healthcare, public finance and governmental relations.  He has served as a member and in leadership positions of many non-profit and community Boards including the Florida Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Special Needs Advisory Committee, United Way of Broward, Broward Chamber of Non-Profit Organizations, and the Autism Grants Council, among others.  

George J. Taylor, Esq.
Brinkley Morgan
Mr. Taylor joined the Arc Broward Board in 2013.  He received his BS in Business Administration from Lynn University and graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University-Shepard Broad Law Center.  He is currently engaged in a private law practice.  He also serves on the Board of The Salah Foundation, a private charitable foundation as well as the Broward Health Foundation. He is Vice Chair of the Board and a member of the Governance Committee.

Cheryl Higgins

Vice Chair
Ms.Higgins joined the Arc Broward Board in 2014.  She is a Development Leader in Technologies responsible for managing software applications and all project delivery related to those applications at American Express.  She has BA, Finance from Florida Atlantic University and MS, Quality Management from the University of Miami. Ms. Higgins is the Chair of the organization’s Audit and Finance Committee.

Palak Singh, CPA


Palak Singh was elected to the Arc Broward of Directors in September, 2015. As a Senior Manager in the Tax Department at RSM in Fort Lauderdale, she provides high level tax compliance and consulting services to corporations, partnerships and individuals. Palak focuses her practice on large multi-national, multi-state publicly held and privately held companies. Prior to joining RSM, Palak spent 7 years servicing Corporate and Private Equity clients in a Big Four accounting firm and has also served in pharmaceutical, healthcare, energy, construction, manufacturing, distribution, professional services and retail industries. In addition to her client service responsibilities Palak is also responsible for managing the associates, senior associates and supervisors in the Fort Lauderdale tax practice from a quality, staffing and profitability perspective. She exhibits strong project management skills and consistently manages production and margin goals for self and others. She recognizes resource/team capabilities (background, experience, strengths and weaknesses), aligns the right talent and leverage model to the work. Her other community activities involve Leadership Broward, Women Leading Broward, Friends of MODS and the Miss Arc Broward Pageant.  In 2002 she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and in 2006 a Master of Science in Taxation, from Rutgers University. She serves on the Arc Broward Audit and Finance Committee.


Carolyn Davis, Secretary
Retired Insurance Executive
Carolyn Davis joined the Board of Directors of Arc Broward in 2014.  She began her career at Seitlin Benefits in 1990 as a sales consultant. She was promoted to Vice President in 1994, and her responsibilities included managing the employee benefits division of Seitlin in the Ft Lauderdale office, as well as develop her own book of business.  In 1999, Carolyn became President of Seitlin Benefits. Under her leadership as President (1999- 2007) Seitlin Benefits’ revenues increased over 500%.  In addition, under her management, the benefits division developed many value-added solutions for their clients to include: technology based solutions, benefits administration support, enhanced financial analysis, actuarial services, legal compliance support, employee and dependent advisory support. Carolyn developed Seitlin’s Key Account Team Model and recruited superior talent in each discipline providing unparalleled depth of talent to Seitlin’s clients. Carolyn served on United Healthcare’s first National Advisory Board from 2003-2007, Aetna’s National Broker Advisory Council, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida’s Agents Council. In 2008, Carolyn became Chairwoman of Seitlin Benefits. In that position, Carolyn participated in corporate strategic initiatives and managed her own book of business. In 2011, Carolyn resigned as Chairwoman and became President Emeritus. Since retiring Carolyn served as Chair of United Way of Broward County’s Endowment Committee, currently sits on UWBC Tocqueville Society Steering Committee, and is working with Holy Cross Hospital to explore a Community Development Council. She holds the office of Arc Broward Board Secretary and is also a member of the Governance Committee and Strategic Planning Committee.

Tanya L. Bower
Tripp Scott
Ms. Bower joined the Arc Broward Board in 2013.  She is a Director-Attorney at Tripp Scott, P.A. specializing in Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Asset Protection, Succession Planning and General Business transactions.  She has an L L.M., Taxation from University of Miami School of Law, a JD from Florida State University College of Law and a BS in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She is an active member of the Board of Leadership Broward, and Junior League of Greater Ft. Lauderdale, among others.  Ms. Bower is co-chair of the Arc Broward Strategic Planning Committee.

Kim Cagiano

Kim Cagiano, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the South Florida Division of SunTrust Banks, Inc., comprising the counties of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River. In this role, Kim is responsible for driving sales strategy, community involvement, public relations and marketing initiatives for this geographic area from her office based in Fort Lauderdale.  

Kim joined SunTrust in 1990 and is a 26-year veteran of the banking industry. Kim has led the sales and marketing team in South Florida for the past 15 years. For the first 11 years of her banking career, she held a variety of roles with the Retail Banking portion of SunTrust Bank. She is a member of the bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and Mentoring Program, and holds an advisory capacity to various areas of the bank for innovative programs and projects.  

She is a native Floridian, and resides in Parkland, Florida with her husband and three sons. 

Andrew Garnett
Special Needs Mobility Group

Andrew Garnett is the founder and President of Special Needs Group a unique business handling mobility and other supportive equipment for cruise travelers around the world among other things. He has over 12 years of leadership experience building a global brand in the Special Needs industry.

An accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise in business performance have driven notable growth in both the Special Needs and the travel industries. Throughout his years in the Special Needs industry, Garnett has forged strong relationships with the manufacturers of special needs equipment. He has also established global contacts for logistical fulfillment within this industry. Through these relationships, he is not only able to procure equipment at a moment’s notice in virtually any corner of the globe, Garnett is also able to provide input into the design of equipment customized to the needs of the cruise industry, as well as any other possible application.

Prior to establishing his current business, he worked as a recruiter and is a member of the Arc Broward Business Advisory Council. He has an economics degree from the University of Florida


Daniel Iturrey

Daniel is a Florida licensed CPA and Assurance Senior at EY. He is an entrepreneur with a passion for transformational technologies and a passion to do good and give back to his community. He is a former Member of the Board of Trustees and Audit Committee for the City of Miami Firefighters & Police Officers (FIPO) Retirement Trust and a mentor with NFTE, the network for teaching entrepreneurship as well as the College MAP, Mentoring for Access and Persistence program. He serves as a peer advisor and University of Miami Campus Recruiting Leader for EY. Under his leadership the company was recognized as one of the top employers on that Campus. Danielle also was NCAA Division III Student Athlete, World Series Runner Up, South Region Champion, All South Region Tournament First Team (Baseball 2010 – 2014 [Team Captain 2011 – 2014]) and NCAA Division I Student Athlete (Baseball 2009.)



Rosy Lopez
Rosy Strategies, Inc.
Ms. Lopez joined the Board of Directors in 2014.  She has more than 25 years of legal marketing, recruiting and management experience. She is active in the community and currently serves as Chairwoman of the United Way of Broward’s Women’s Leadership Council.  She has a BBA from the University Of Miami School Of Business. She is the Founder and CEO of Rosy Strategies providing integrated marketing services. She currently serves of the Arc Broward Resource Development Committee.

Melissa Milroy
Galleria Mall

Melissa Milroy is the Senior Marketing Manager for The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. She is responsible for implementing all marketing and advertising campaigns, sponsorship and business development and community relations for the property.

Ms. Milroy has been with The Galleria for the past 24 years. She currently sits on the board for the Transportation Management Association, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Beach Council Board of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, The Heart Gallery of Broward County, is a member of the Marketing Advisory Committee of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. She oversees the Galleria’s annual Men of Style event every year inviting select nonprofits to participate and generate their own funds.



Chad Moss
Moss & Associates
Chad Moss joined the Arc Broward Board of Directors in May 2017.  As Executive Vice President of Moss & Associates, Chad manages multiple accounts, business development, client strategy, new project pursuits, public relations, and community initiatives. He is a prominent ambassador for the company and is known for building strong relationships throughout the South Florida construction field and in the community as a whole. 
Chad co-founded family-owned-and-operated Moss & Associates after he began his 20-year career in operations. Chad has been active in some of Moss’s most prominent signature projects, including the Miami Marlins Park, opened in 2012, and the groundbreaking 620-bed Parkview Hall at his alma mater, Florida International University, opened in August 2013. 
Chad serves as President of the Moss Foundation, a non-profit organization established to provide a platform for the community initiatives and partnerships Moss is involved with. The Foundation supports and offers assistance to other non-profit organizations and community partners, promoting the premise that Moss isn’t just about building structures, we are helping to build communities. A self-described “people person,” Chad enjoys bringing people together to create significant projects. More broadly, he enjoys mentoring others, advancing education, and giving back to the community. 
Chad earned a B.S. in construction management from Florida International University. A longtime champion of FIU, he is a member of the FIU Foundation board of directors and of the university’s OHL School of Construction Industry Advisory Council. Through the Moss Foundation, Chad donated $10 million to Florida International University’s engineering school, creating the Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure and Sustainability in the FIU's College of Engineering & Computing. He is also a Board member of Broward County nonprofit HANDY.

Eric Pfeil
Breakthru Beverage of Florida

Eric Pfeil joined the Arc Broward Board of Directors in May, 2017.  He is the Executive Vice President of Breakthru Beverage of Florida. His responsibilities include overseeing all Sales, Sales Execution, Pricing & Programming, Supplier Relations, Retail & On-Premise Chains and Data Analytics.  

During his 13-year tenure at Premier Beverage, now Breakthru Beverage after the merger with Wirtz Beverage out of the Midwest, Eric held multiple leadership positions, including General Sales Manager for South Florida, and Vice President of Sales.

Eric's career in the wine and spirits industry spans over 30 years including prior sales roles both domestic and overseas for the E & J Gallo, as well as tenure with Glazers, Grantham Distributing, Johnson Brothers and Republic Beverage.

Eric is on the board of the Miami Dolphins Cancer Challenge, a committee member for the Jason Taylor Reading Room Foundation and involved with several local charities including the Miami Children’s Foundation.

He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a degree in Business Economics. 


Michael D. Wild, Esq.
Wild Felice & Partners, PA

Michael D. Wild is the managing partner of Wild Felice & Partners, PA. He was elected to serve as a member of the Arc Broward Board of Directors in September 2015. Michael also serves on the Boards of several other community organizations including 2-1-1 Broward, Impact Broward, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, and HANDY. He is a co-founder of the United Way of Broward County’s Envision Broward and the 2015 Chair of the March of Dimes Signature Chef Gala Committee. He is also a member of the Unsafe Structure Board for the City of Plantation. Michael was named Small Business Person of the Year for the City of Plantation, nominated for Man of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and named one of Gold Coast Magazine’s Top 40 Professionals Under 40. He has also been listed in the Wall Street Journal as one of South Florida’s Top Attorneys. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine multiple times as a “Rising Star.” Michael was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006. Prior to obtaining his law degree from the University of Florida, Michael earned his B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Sports Management, also from the University of Florida. In addition to earning his undergraduate and law school degrees, Michael has worked as a Financial Associate with Alliance Bernstein and as an Operations Assistant with the Miami Dolphins. He serves as the Chair of the Arc Broward Planned Giving Committee.


Adam Corin
Niroc Consultants, Inc.

Adam Corin graduated Arizona State University with a Business Degree and then moved back to his home State to attend Law School.   After graduating Law School, Adam worked as a Westchester County Attorney for many years and in 1994, moved to Florida.  Once in Florida, Adam worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of West Palm Beach and after 4 years, moved on to become In-House Council for the parent Corporation of a large retail store chain.  Thereafter, having practiced law for over 12 years, Adam became involved in the Employee Leasing/PEO industry in various capacities and has now been in this industry for the past 18 years.  In 2010, Adam opened Niroc Consultants, an independent consulting firm, to use his education, experiences and strategic alliances as a source for business owners to find outsourcing solutions for all their company needs.  Niroc Consultants main focus is as an independent advisor in finding back office HR solutions for any size company, nationwide.


Over the past several years, Adam has volunteered his time to many nonprofit organizations.  Adam currently serves on the Board of HANDY and Chaired their Development Committee for several years until recently; As of October 1st, has been appointed Chair of the Arc Broward Business Advisory Council; has been a Broward County Guardian Ad Litem for several years and also has involvement with 211 Broward, Leadership Broward and the NOVA Ambassadors Board.      


Joel Mayersohn
Dickinson Wright

Joel Mayersohn, a Member at the law firm of Dickinson Wright, focuses his practice in corporate, securities and business law. He advises a diversified client base in private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and general securities, as well as corporate law matters. He also has experience in venture capital, going private transactions, bridge loans and pipe financings.

He earned a B.A. cum laude from The State University of New York (Buffalo) and a J.D. from  The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He was selected as "Dealmaker of the Week" by South Florida Daily Business Review (July 2012) and has been listed as one of the "Top Lawyers in Florida" by South Florida Legal Guide.  He has published numerous articles including "Advising the Board of Directors, Effectively Managing the Risk" - Roetzel Corporate Counsel Forum (2009) and  "Duo Helped in $180M Acquisition of Plantation-based Online Retailer" - South Florida Daily Business Review (2012)

He has served on several other non-profit Boards of Directors over the years and joined the Arc Broward Board in May, 2019.
