Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (Twenty (20) hours, $120 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Covers the basic principles of behavior analysis, including ABC's of Behavior, Reinforcement, and Data Collection. Fulfills the State training requirement for behavior assistants.
Back Safety and Ergonomics (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	An informative instruction on why and how you should maintain a healthy back in the workplace and at home. Discusses proper body mechanics in industrial and office settings.
Defensive Driving - Coaching the Van Driver (Three hours, $30 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Covers defensive driving skills, along with tips on van inspection and how to prevent and avoid collisions. Endorsed by the National Safety Council.
Developing Communication Skills (Three hours, $30 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Taught in a hands-on, interactive format, this course demonstrates effective and practical communication methods to use with staff and with clients/consumers.
Fire Safety (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Covers the procedures for proper evacuation, conducting fire drills, and preventing fires.
Health Training (First Aid) (Four hours, $40 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Covers basic lay responses to emergencies such as bleeding, burns, insect bites, drowning, and seizures.
Heartsaver CPR (Four hours, $30 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	This hands-on course, developed by the American Heart Association, prepares participants to respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
HIPAA Compliance Training (Thirty (30) minutes to one hour, $10 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Informs staff of their responsibilities in handling and protecting consumers' health information according to Federal regulations.
HIV/AIDS (Four hours, $40 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	This comprehensive workshop provides up-to-date information on the transmission of HIV, chronicles the history of the virus, and discusses methods of prevention and the importance of educating consumers about HIV. (Update class also available for staff already trained in HIV).
PCM (Professional Crisis Management) (Twenty-two (22) hours, $125 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Developed and governed by the Professional Crisis Management Association, this course teaches both nonphysical and physical strategies to intervene with consumers exhibiting crisis behaviors in a safe and stable way.
PCM Re-certification (Seven hours, $75 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	A review of the nonphysical and physical strategies taught in the PCM certification course.
Performance Standards (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Details and discusses standards critical for providing direct care in a caring, ethical and professional manner. Ideal for staff who may be new to direct care.
Professional Behavior in the Workplace (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	This video-based course educates participants on appropriate and inappropriate workplace behavior, including attire and hygiene, punctuality, and telephone etiquette.
Zero Tolerance (formerly Abuse & Neglect) (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	Discusses how to identify and report abuse in direct-care settings as defined by Florida statute. (On-site training available.)
Time Management & Organizational Skills (One hour, $20 per person) Back to Top Check Dates for Classes
	This course teaches participants how to recognize 'time-wasters' and optimize their use of time through various organizational tools, personalizing them into an effective time management style.
