Under the supervision of a licensed therapist and prescribed by a physician, these therapies will generally produce functional outcomes in muscle control, ambulation, postural development, as well as, maximize range of motion, oral and fine motor skills.

Speech Language Therapy

Specialized Summer Camp

Camp SMART (Speech, Mobility And Art) offers a great summer experience for children ages 3 to 14 with special health needs who require intensive speech, occupational and/or physical therapy. These children require additional supports that are not generally present in typical summer camps. Highly skilled and licensed Occupational and Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists and paraprofessionals will offer a variety of specialized therapeutic, educational, social, and recreational activities. Camp SMART will help remove barriers, particularly physical barriers, and facilitate the children's full participation in a broad range of community opportunities with proper support and supervision. By modifying activities and using therapeutic techniques, children will work on skills at the appropriate developmental level, which will allow them to be successful at the activity and promote positive feelings of accomplishment as they learn new skills and enhance their independence.
