ARC Broward, a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to providing services to children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities, announced the appointment of Tripp Scott, P.A. Director Tanya L. Bower, Esq. to its board of directors.
“Tanya is a prominent leader in the Broward County law community and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise,” said ARC Broward President/CEO Dennis Haas, Esq. “She also has an immense passion for the work that we do and will be a tremendous asset to ARC Broward.”
Bower focuses her practice on corporate and tax matters, including estate planning, asset protection and wealth preservation. She has practiced law at the South Florida based law firm for more than 11 years and was named a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2009 and 2011.
Bower has a passion for helping others and has demonstrated extensive community involvement. She has held or currently holds leadership positions with the United Way of Broward County Women’s Leadership Council, Leadership Broward Foundation, Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Independence Training & Education Center, Seminole Club of Broward County, Rebuilding Together Broward County, Family Service Agency and the Hurricane Club. She was also honored as one of the 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County in 2011.
Bower holds an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, a law degree, with honors, from Florida State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with highest honors, from Nova Southeastern University.
