This program provides individuals and their caregivers the training and support necessary to be successful in addressing the needs of their child while in the natural home environment. The Community-Based Behavioral Services Program provides in-home behavioral services for children and adults who are diagnosed with a developmental disability/delay. Individualized behavior plans are designed to address maladaptive behaviors and teach functionally equivalent and adaptive skills. These plans are developed by Certified Associate Behavioral Analysts, Certified Behavior Analysts and approved/monitored by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Specialized Summer Camp

Kamp Krayola offers a great summer experience for young children ages 3 to 14 who have a developmental disability and moderate to severe behavior challenges. The camp operates weekdays from 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. during the summer when the public schools are closed and parents have few options available for their child. Children may enroll in one or more sessions. The camp is based at ARC Broward campus located at 10250 N.W. 53rd Street, Sunrise. Kamp Krayola will offer a variety of socialization, leisure and recreational services to enhance the development of appropriate socialization and adaptive skills for children with developmental disabilities, specifically mental retardation or autism, who have moderate to severe behavioral challenges. These children require additional supports that are not generally present in typical summer camps. Specialized socialization, leisure and recreational activities are valuable and facilitate efforts to remove barriers and encourage the children's full participation in a broad range of community opportunities with proper support and supervision.
